Carnegie Science Center provided some of my favorite design experiences. I was honored to have worked with many extraordinary designers and fabricators who I always derive inspiration from today. These are a few of the exhibits I was privileged to have contributed my design talent to. |

Carnegie Science Center's "Zap Surgery" center piece. The fiberglass brain is a stylized rendition of a gamma dome beaming rays into a brain. Optic fibers dazzle onlookers with a pulsating display of green gamma.

Scope it Out simulates a real life medical procedure to remove an inhaled object from a patient's lung.

Visitors attempt to correct leaking blood vessels represented by LEDs inside the giant eye. A diode laser shuts off the LED when aimed at the leaking vessel.

The obstacle course in Sportsworks lets children crawl, climb, and play. Backdrops of classic Road Runner cartoons provided inspiration for the mountains.
